What is Mental health?

A person’s condition with regard to their psychological and emotional well-being.

Our emotions are enrooted in every aspect where they are wired to every process of thinking, feeling, and expressing. When all are balanced it is called wellbeing. When there is imbalance it’s a disorder. To deal this disorder and balance it we have consider what and how are we lacking in. Every emotion as said is wired in every process it needs to be balanced or achieve equilibrium. Bach flowers will help them to balance while giving a shift within which is only felt. The feelings here are most important given value which uplifts your mood. This upliftment is very important in our day to day life. There comes a mental health. Mental health which has to be extremely healthy in day to day functioning. By having balanced mental health one can deal stressful situations well, without getting affected negatively. Let’s see what is mental health first so we understand why it is important to understand emotions and keep them balanced.

Different mental health conditions which needs a good support to feel emotional and mental fit and fine are:

Anxiety

We all feel worried, tense or fearful sometimes. These are normal responses to certain situations. But if you have an anxiety disorder these feelings of fear and danger can be ongoing and impact the ability to live your life as fully as you want to.

Bipolar disorder

Everyone experiences changes in their mood but bipolar disorder can change your mood dramatically, affecting every part of your life. You will feel extreme highs and lows sometimes lasting for months at a time. You may feel well between these times.

Borderline personality disorder (BPD)

BPD is an illness that affects the way you think and feel about yourself, as well as your emotions and relationships with other people. Sometimes called emotionally unstable personality disorder (EUPD).

Depression

Depression is a long-lasting low mood disorder. It affects your ability to do everyday things, feel pleasure or take interest in activities. It’s different from feeling sad or down, but anyone can experience depression.

Eating disorders

An eating disorder is any difficult relationship with food. This may be eating too much or too little. You may become obsessed with food and your eating patterns if you have an eating disorder.

Personality disorders

Our personalities are made up of the way we think, feel and act. A personality disorder might be diagnosed when parts of our personality cause problems in our lives.

Psychosis

If you are experiencing psychosis, you might see or hear or believe things that others may not. You may believe your experiences are real. Some people describe it as a ‘break from reality’.

Schizoaffective disorder

You may be diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder if you experience psychotic symptoms as well as the mood symptoms of bipolar disorder. Schizoaffective disorder affects your thoughts, feelings and behaviour.

Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia affects the way you think and cope with daily life. Someone experiencing schizophrenia may have hallucinations, delusions, disorganised thinking and lack motivation for daily activities.
